No it can not, it can handle up to 308 calibers

This riflescope. per the manufacturer, is rated for .308 Winchester recoil levels, or about 17.5 foot pounds of free recoil energy in an 8 pound rifle. The average .338 Federal load generates around 23 foot pounds in an 8 pound rifle. I wouldn't do it.
