The Taurus TX22 Competition mount is made to be nearly universal. Unfortunately, we do not carry alternative mounting screws.
I have this red dot which I initially bought to mount on a 45 pic rail on my AR. I went to use it on my newly purchased TX22 Comp and the screws that come with the red dot arent long enougn to reach the base plate on the gun. The adapter plate that comes with the gun where the "pins" fit are the proper fittment, unfortunately the screws that come with the Sightmark arent long enough to catch the threads. I'm going yo contact sighmark directly and see if perhaps they have longer screws available to allow this red dot to be used. I hope so! I like this M-spec!
Same, I purchased for psa dagger doctor cut slide and the mount doesn't fit, needs the adapter plate, and the screws are not long enough to pass through adapter plate and mount. Asked sight Mark and was told they don't supply longer screws, so now I have a sight I can't use.
For my TX22 Competition, I bought the picatinny rail to use instead of a plate, and then used the Sightmark low rise QDF mount. Pretty slick, and can QD it and use steel sights.
