No, this will only fit M&P40 full size frames. It also will not fit M&P 2.0 series pistols.
Yes the 9mm and 40 frames are the same, this will fit 4" and 4.25" 2.0 but it wont slingshot shut unless you slightly modify a 1.0 slide stop to clear the detent. To switch 9mm to 40 with this if a full size all you need is 40 mags,if a 4" you'll also need a 4.25" recoil spring"has light blue paint if s&w spring" does not include a recoil spring
