No, this will not accept a 7.62x39 barrel.

YES! As long as it’s AR15 format barrel. Look at Dez Tactical barrels in 7.62x39, sold here on OP.

Why not? An AR 7.62x39 barrel's external dimensions should be no different than an AR 5.56x45 barrel's dimensions. They are both made for the same upper receiver.
