The Spypoint Flex-S-Dark Trail Camera uses an internal battery. The FLEX-S-DARK integrated solar panel is designed to maintain the charge of the internal battery or to charge it slowly. It becomes effective as soon as sunlight is detected. Under optimal conditions—such as a low-power configuration and a sunny environment—the camera’s internal battery can maintain a consistent charge for up to 11 months. Adding AA batteries, a LIT-22, or a 12V battery is optional, as the camera functions using the internal battery as its primary power source.
