can this camera be charged when recording and does it have loop capability

Yes, all models are capable of Looping Video. The 1080 model can do up to 1080p30, while the 4K model's increased power allows 1080p60. The camera can be powered during use with an external power source but it may be unable to charge during this; SPYPOINT did not specify the capability.
