will the model 21 extractor or ejector be an issue now or ever? with this barrel swap

You could potentially need to swap out the extractor but, we have customers that haven't needed to and some that have, it's really on a firearm by firearm basis.

I have an early G21 thats has NOT had the updated breech face cut done at the factory. Is it ok to use this barrel in it?

Yes, this barrel will fit a Gen 3 Glock 21. Glock 21 barrels are compatible across Generations 1-4.
