Hello Would this work on a Fab Defense Vertical T-Grip Which has a space to hold a 1” light?

No, it will not work as the diameter of the body is .850" and the diameter of the head is .950" which means the mount would technically be too large for this light.

For a mount, what is the diameter of the housing for the flashlight?

These are the dimensions:

Length: 4.25 in. (10.8 cm); Head diameter: .950 in. (2.41 cm); Barrel diameter: .850 in. (2.16 cm)

Weight:
2.5 oz (71 grams) with CR123 battery;
2.8 oz (79 grams) with “AA” alkaline battery
2.4 oz (68 grams) with “AA” Lithium battery
