It cannot, it is mounted inline with your barrel and should give you a point of reference, not an exact hit spot.

You cannot zero the laser, it is there to provide a reference point.

can I use this light to hunt beavers at night is it a small dot type or more like a very bright flashlight to use to hunt at night ?

Yes, the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X Laser Light could be used for that application. This is a 1000 Lumen flashlight with a red laser. This is a decently bright flashlight for its size and would depend on how far away you are when shooting.

Yep. the 88089 version uses/comes with two CR-123 batteries. The 88090 version uses/comes with the Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery
