Yes, you can set the unit up to actuate the laser and light separately.
If you use the battery cap actuator, the laser and light can be operated independently of each other. ***HOWEVER*** when using the "remote pressure switches" you lose that ability and the light and laser will acuate together. I have spoken to the Streamlight engineer for this unit and they have advised they DO NOT have any current plans to allow/design the "remote pressure switch" to actuate them independent. It is a purchase I regret making as they DID NOT advertise this fact when rolling it out for initial sale.
You are able to actuate the laser independently from the light when using the pressure switch, to do this you’ll have to back out the cap about 1/4” turn to the left from the tightened position. This will cut off the light when the pressure switch is engaged and only actuate the laser. When the cap is screwed all the way to the right, then the laser and light will emit. Or you can control the light and laser independently with the dedicated switches on the included cap.
only when using the tail cap not pressure switch
