The TLR-1 HL-X is supposed to be 1,500 lumens, and 20,000 candela. Why is this only 1,000 lumens? Is it the Chinese knock off version or what? — 6 Answers

It is only 1,500 lumens when you use the sl-b9 rechargeable streamlight battery. With a standard cr123A, it only provides the light with 1,000 lumens

The higher output is with the USB rechargeable battery. This model specifies CR123a batteries. My light came with rechargeable battery and specifies that using disposables will result in lower output.

If you watch the attached video, the rechargeable slb9 batteries provide the 1500 lumens. Standard CR123 batteries only output 1000 lumens.

Should be the same light, but this one ships with CR123A batteries. You need the Streamlight rechargeable batteries to get the 1500 lumens. https://www.opticsplanet.com/streamlight-tlr-1-hl-x-usb-multi-fuel-high-lumen-rail-mounted-tactical-light.html?pdata=73923-119228891-20244144&utm_campaign=OP-Browse-Abandon-10min-Evergreen-12-19-23&utm_source=attentive&utm_medium=sms&externalId=ofcpp
