The Stab-ARP was designed to be used as a Fin-type stabilizing brace. However, currently, we are unable to specifically answer this question. The final ruling regarding pistol braces will go into effect in August. Information on ATF's website on whether a brace can even be used is dependent on the final configuration of the pistol using a checklist. Search ATF definition of a pistol brace and click on the ATF link for information regarding the current proposal.

Yes, this is a brace not a stock, perfect for AR pistol with barrel less than 16".
