The Magpul AMAGS also work great, now I just have to figure out the base plates on my factory mags to see if I can continue to use those 10 & 12 rounders...

You can use the oem P365X/XL Micro Compact 10rd magazine to fit flush with our grip module. Other than the 10rd X/XL mag mentioned, the 12rd mag can also sit flush it just depends on which mag base extension you have on it (Sig makes several). Note that 15rd and 17rd mags will always stick out. Linked is a video of the different magazine tests. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6S_6OKIBGFw

Will this work with the 380 version

Yes, this should work with P365 FCUs chambered in .380. All you need to do is acquire the correct recoil spring assembly, barrel and magazine for that and you'd be good. There are also 12rd .380 P365 mags pinned to 10rds for those in restricted states.

So what's different about the grip module that it doesn't fit your standard holsters?

Answered by Bob, member, from NY, United States, on February 15, 2026

Likely, the picatinny rail sits lower/longer than a base model p365 rail.

Is this not designed for the Sig 10 rnd magazine, mine doesn’t fit?

A
Answered by Jeff P, member, from KS, United States, on January 09, 2026

I have an original P365 and it doesn't look like those 10 and 12 rnd mags fit this module (or I just haven't figured out a base plate yet that allows it).

I have an original P365 and it doesn't look like those 10 and 12 rnd mags fit this module (or I just haven't figured out a base plate yet that allows it).
I purchased the Magpul AMAG's that are 17 rnds and they work very well (in the stock) and this grip module...I was thinking about returning this module because I haven't figured out if my factory 10 and 12 round mags can be modified to work but this grip module feels really good in my hands, has a flared mag-well and the pic rail I wanted (and just buying a pic rail costs almost as much as this does).

The Strike Industries Enhanced Grip Module for the SIG P365 is most similar to the size of a Sig P365 X Grip - meaning that it can take the P365 X/XL 10, 12, 15, AND the 17rd magazines.
