The Strike Industries GridLok Handguard Complete Assembly is not compatible with most piston systems.

I have used Superlative Arms piston kit with two different AR builds with the Strike Industries Gridlock Handguard. Looks awesome and works flawlessly.

I used an Adam's Arms piston with the low profile gas block. I did have to cut a notch in the barrel nut from the end to right before the threads of the nut. works great, no issues. I have access to a mill so it was no big deal. gathering parts for another build and going to use same setup.
