The MCQUAD will not be compatible with the 40 cal barrels.

Yes, this is a universal compensator designed for just about any size slide using a threaded barrel with 1/2"x28 Threads.

It depends on the ammo, the slide weight, the spring weight, barrel length, how firm you hold the gun, so it could be, it could be.

Yes, it will fit on a P365 IF your pistol is fitted with a 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel. If not, you'll have to buy such a barrel first.
