The Strike Industries Slide for Sig Sauer is a stripped slide and has no internal components.

Does this require a gunsmith to switch out from original? I see some questions that talk about extractors.

A gunsmith is the recommended method to completing this Strike Industries Slide. However, it can be done on your own if you are capable. You can use your original slides internal parts or purchase a new slide completion kit.

Will this optic cut work with a 507c Holosun optic?

No, the Strike Slide for SIG SAUER P365 is pre-cut for Shield Standard and Docter/Noblex footprints. You will be able to mount optics like the Shield RMSc, Sig Romeo Zero, Holosun 407K/507K, Holosun EPS Carry, and Vortex Viper.

The Strike Industries Slide for Sig Sauer will not work with the Trijicon RMRcc. The slide is compatible with the red dots using the Shield RMS footprint.

Is there anything to fill the gap at the rear when using a holosun 407k optic?

No. The Strike Industries Slide for Sig Sauer P365 will fit the 407K/507K with the included M3x8mm screws, if there is a gap, there is no method to fill it.

The Strike Industries Slide for the Sig Sauer P365 is not compatible with the ported SAS model P365.

Will this work on a pre-2019 model Sig P365?

The Strike Industries Slide will fit a pre-2019 P365. However, you will need to use the latest generation P365 internal upper parts (extractor and striker).
