Short answer yes! I have this Surefire scout light pro turbo, and a cloud defensive rein 3.0 that comes with an 18650 flat top battery without the built in micro usb charging port. I popped the rein 3.0 battery in and it turned on! Now the flat top vs the button top, I’m curious to see if either will have different output or battery life. Also curious to see if either will giggle around more and induce an accidental discharge. But yes it does turn on with the 18650 that cloud defensive includes with the Rein 3.0.
