I purchased this same light from Amazon and I need to know if when the light is in IR mode can u see a dim red light from the bulb?

You may see a faint red glow from the IR LED on the SureFire M640V Scout Light Pro IR/LED Weapon Light.

Can you attach this to a pressure pad?

The SureFire M640V Scout Light Pro IR/LED Weapon Light can be used with a pressure switch. The switch at the link below will work with the SureFire M640V Scout Light Pro IR/LED Weapon Light.

Is there a way to switch the rail mount around to the opposite so it mounts on the top of the weapon and pivot it to the right side of the gun

Yes, you can easily switch the orientation of the mount to whatever suits your needs.

Will I be able to see the IR light with scopes? I own several higher end scopes - and I cannot figure out if any of them are capable of seeing IR.

You will need to have night vision to be able to see IR. IR light is only visible using digital or analog night vision scopes or monoculars. You will NOT be able to see IR with a normal rifle scope.
