Can I use a lock nut or a lock washer to hold diffuser in place? Just tightening the diffuser down by hand doesn’t feel very secure on my Tavor.

No, this SureFire Warden Direct-Thread Blast Regulator is a direct thread option that will thread directly to your 1/2x28 or 5/8x24 threaded barrel.

The manufacturer does not state if Loctite is needed for installation of the SureFire Warden Direct-Thread Blast Regulator. I recommend contacting SureFire for that information.

The SureFire Warden Direct-Thread Blast Regulator model MPN:WARDEN-1/2-28-BK is compatible with AR15 model rifles chambered in 5.56/.223. Model MPN:WARDEN-5/8-24-BK uses 5/8x24 threads and is compatible with .308" diameter cartridges or smaller, but not 7.62x39.

The SureFire Warden Direct-Thread Blast Regulator features internal diffusers designed to direct concussion muzzle blast forward without venting gas to the side. This aids in reducing the overpressure felt by others immediately to the left and/or right of the shooter’s firing position. It also limits any dust signature from the weapon when fired from a prone position.
