is this compatible with the Thompson Center Encore pistol ?

The Tacfire Mosin Nagant M44 & 91/30 Pistol Grip is not compatible with the TC Encore. We do carry the Choate Tool T/C Encore M-4 Pistol Grip which is compatible with the TC Encore and allows for installation of an M4 style buffer tube. It can be found by using the link below:

Is that a self tapping wood screw? Or do you have to drill a hole in the stock first. If a pre-drilled hole is required, what size bit should I use.
