It is made for the large battery and unfortunately it didn't state that in the description. I have the standard battery and had to put several paper towels inside the bottom to raise the radio up high enough to see the screen in the plastic window. If you are looking for a smaller pouch just to use with the standard battery this isn't the one for you. The pouch is made very well and is definitely quality. I just wish it mentioned this model was made for the larger battery setup.
