Is it 20moa or zero. Doesn't specify but other Tally bases say 20moa or not

We only manufacture the BLR base in 0 MOA. Be sure to check the hole spacing on your rifle before ordering, some BLR rifles require the BAR rail.

It is compatible with both short and long action.

Will this base fit onto a BLR 81 lever action Browning. Pic doesn't look like the screw holes are the same.

This rail should fit all Browning Lever Action Rifles. The image is not of the actual rail, manufacturers frequently only send us one image for an entire product line. I apologize for the confusion.

Yes, all of our picatinny rails come with the appropriate mounting hardware, specific to each model.

Will the specific picatinny base for a new BLR allow the use of the factory iron sights?

The rail will likely be too tall to use the iron sights. Rail height is .385"

Does this Talley mount fit on Browning BLR "Takedown" models (lightweight 81) ?

If your rifle has a hole spacing of 2.81" between screws 2 & 3, this rail will fit fine. If your rifle has a spacing of 3.187" between those screws, you will need the BAR rail, item P00252711.

Will this work with ruger rings

If you are talking about the Ruger proprietary rings, no, it will not. This rail will accept weaver and picatinny rings ONLY.

I have what I think are called "Modkin" rings on a scope and I want to mount it on a Browning BLR. Will this base work?

Yes, this is the correct rail for the Browning BLR, so as long as the Modkin brand rings you have are Picatinny or Weaver-style rings, they should fit this rail.
