It it plastic or aluminum?

They're finished in a non-reflective matte black and constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Do they line up with a standard A2 sight? Can they co-witness with a Vortex strike fire II cantilevered red dot?

The Tiger Rock Fiber Optics Flip Up Front and Rear Sights with Red and Green Dots are at a 1.4" centerline height. So if you only used the rear, it would line up with your front sight.
