Does it follow around the trigger guard. Or does it just stick down more. How does it look when it comes out

The Timber Creek Outdoors Extended Extra Large Magazine Release fits along the contour of the trigger guard with a little space in between to allow for easy use.

Will it fit the ruger 10/22 with polymer trigger housing and metal housing the same? Meaning, the release wont touch or rest on the trugger guard?
