Yes. Mossberg uses both long and short action triggers on both actions so it is best to measure from the center of pin to center of mounting screw. If it measures .390. you will need model 610S. If it is .512, you will need model 610.

No, the Timney Triggers Mossberg Trigger w/Safety is not compatible with the 590 Shockwave. These triggers are designed for short or long action Mossberg bolt guns.

The caliber is just as important than the model of Mossberg rifle you're trying to install the trigger in.
The short action trigger will only fit the Mossberg models listed below.
