This has a limited lifetime warranty. It will fit on any flat-top AR-style rifle, and is high enough to put the standard A2 height front iron sight at lower 1/3rd co-witness.
Mine came with a 2yr full warranty; you will have to remove the front sight (You Tube) your M-4 should have a 1-20 MOA rail...... sight in ACOG with a laser boresighter.... I prefer the sighter shaped in the form of a 5.56rd (Amazon)... don’t go cheap 4-5 star rating is worth it... once mounted and sighted take off and use blue loctite and remount..... double check eye relief and sighted in at 25yds!!!!! Your good to go up to 300-350yds; if target is closer than 25yds, aim higher using BDC.... 25yds-use 2; 15yds-use 3; 10yds & less-use 4...... Hope this helps?????
