I have two of these 5-50x 5s and they are wonderful. I also had trouble getting the scope far enough back to suit my personal needs. Some #AIR422S. UTG Leapers ACCU-SYNC 34mm High Profile 37mm Offset rings are the perfect cure. Mine are of the two piece variety. They can be off-set foreword, rearward or one in each direction. There is plenty of clearance to the turret housing on the under side as well. The 22mm saddle height raises my head to a very natural shooting position and lets me to optimize my cheek piece position. The fit and finish is very nice too. I have them n my Vudoo, Anschutz and Sako etc. They have lightning cuts to save weight but are still rock solid. All edges and corners have radii to prevent snagging of gear. They are free of all protrusions for effortless access to windage and elevation turrets. For under $40.00, you risk very little.
Hope this helps. Shawn C. 38242 Tn.
