Can a 7.62x51 optic work on a 7.62x39 rifle?

The BDC will be off since its calibrated for 7.62x51.

This item is listed as a "Factory DEMO". What does that mean exactly?

The factory demo models are models that are opened out of their original packages or are lightly used that are in still good condition and can be sold at a discounted price.

It may but he BDC reticle may be off slightly at range

If I purchase an Acog with the ballistics of .308 can I still use it on a 5.56? What's the difference when choosing ballistic size?

The bullet drop compensator is based on the ballistic size. You can use a ACOG designed for .308 on a 5.56 but the BDC reticle will be off since it's calibrated for a .308.

Yes, there are a few qd mounts on the market that can easily be swapped in to replace the original thumb screw mount. Just make sure they will fit the TA33
