Who has used this sight at CQB ranges and what was your thoughts on it compared to other low powered optics and reticles?

Despite the magnification this is easy to use for CQB because it is BAC (Bindon Aiming Concept) capable. This means that you can use it with both eyes open, which helps offset the magnification effect. The illuminated reticle is also easy to pick up quickly for rapid target acquisition. That said this is primarily aimed at longer range engagements, if you anticipate that you will encounter CQB situations more than distance engagements, you may be better suited to a holographic or red dot sight with a flip-to-side magnifier to still allow for longer shots. I've used both setups and really both work well, so it comes down to primary purpose and a bit of personal preference.

Is this designed for a 20” barrel? Any idea how much it will be off using a 14.5” barrell and 55 grain at 100, 200, 300 yards?

Trijicon does not list an RMR mount for this particular ACOG.

Please consider the 4x32 LED ACOG (TA02), which is compatible with the RM66 RMR ACOG Mount:
