Yes, you would be able to purchase and install the Trijicon RMR Mount for ACOG Scopes with bosses (linked below) to this Trijicon ACOG TA31, and it would allow you to mount an optic that uses the Trijicon RMR optic footprint.

Why though? That’s the beauty of an A.C.O.G., the ability to have magnification OR keep both eyes open and superimpose the chevron (or other reticule) on top of your field of view. As someone who spent hundreds or thousands of hours carrying an ACOG in combat I never needed nor wanted another dot for close up work, YMMV.
