Yes. This is the same optic I used in the USMC and it's meant for 5.56mm(.223). It doesn't matter if you have a 20 inch barrel or a 14.5" or a 16". Dial it in and you're good to go.

14.5 inch barrel and 20 inch barrel models are NOT the same unless shooting from 7 yards. I'm sure a 16" barrel will do good with the 14.5 model but not the 20 inch

This reticle is calibrated for a 62gr m855 shot from a 14.5” barrel

16” barrel. That’s why it has M4 in the model number. The 20” M16 takes a different Acog model.

No it’s calibrated for a 14.5 barrel using 62 grain. You can use it for your 16 barrel but just know that you will have some holdovers that you need to memorize at certain distances.
