Do these require a button to flip up or down or are they doing/stop like the MI fold downs?

The TROY 45 Degree Battle sights do fold down. They are not spring assisted, you do not need to push the button to move them in the shoot position, but you will need to push the button to bring them into the storage or non shoot position.

Yes, the Troy HK 45 Degree Offset Folding Front And Round Rear Battle Sights will fit any AR platform rifle or pistol with a picatinny top rail on the receiver and handguard.

I have a Ruger 556 MPR will these work with a Vortex 4-12x44 scope? I'm left handed as well and I didn't see if it was ambidextrous or not.

The Troy 45 Degree Offset Folding BattleSights will fit your rifle. These offest sights are also ambidextrous so you will have no issues fitting them to either side of the rifle.

You are correct, these sights will mount to the top picatinny rail on your Troy Alpha rail.
