Will this fit my Colt LE6920 without messing with the gas tube?

If your rifle has a carbine length gas system, delta ring assembly, and fixed front sight then is should fit without issue.

Yes, however the Ruger AR-556 is notoriously tight for handguard fitment, so some minor modification could be required.

No, this is a drop in handguard for a carbine length gas system.

Are the slots M-lok, or just for cooling?

The slots are for cooling and for mounting small accessory rails, but they are not M-lok specifications. They use Vtac rail sections.
