The canopy on this tent blends 280g breathable cotton with 2000mm waterproof polyester and mesh netting to prevent water from seeping into the tent. Would this fit on a 2015 jeep renegade?

At over 7.25' in length, I think not. The extra surface added to the top of your Jeep, might make it top heavy and unsafe to drive. As a TX resident, the winds in central and west TX would make you change lanes unexpectedly. I also own a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and would not install it on my Jeep. I would however use it in my full sized Ram 3500 bed.
