If you are planning on using a A2 style gas block and front sight on the TRYBE Defense 18 in Medium Profile AR-15 Rifle Barrel, the gas port is going to be about 12 inches from the receiver. So if you want a longer handguard I recommend using one like the handguard at the link below.
