The TRYBE Defense 18 in Medium Profile AR-15 Rifle Barrel has a 1:8 twist and is button rifled.

It is not. The interior surface is black nitride coated 4150 CMV material.

In the description it states it is equipped with a gas system , so does it come with a gas block and tube ?

We apologize for the confusion here. Although there is a kit model available on the product page that includes the rifle barrel, gas block, and gas tube, the standard SKU option only includes the barrel itself. We highly recommend purchasing the kit if you would like every component of the gas system!

I got this barrel and it seems like a match grade barrel but what kind of ammo it shoots best ? Didn't shoot M855 well

Each barrel will shoot ammo differently. I recommend shooting a variety of factory loaded ammo to see what kind it likes best then sighting in your rifle with that ammo. I also suggest shooting different grain weight bullets. For more information, email us at techsales@opticsplanet.com.

Hello, if I were to put a (Fixed) Front Sight Post for the gas block, what length handguard would I be able to fit on it? 15inch at least, max length?

If you are planning on using a A2 style gas block and front sight on the TRYBE Defense 18 in Medium Profile AR-15 Rifle Barrel, the gas port is going to be about 12 inches from the receiver. So if you want a longer handguard I recommend using one like the handguard at the link below.

Also, what is the gas port size? Is it 0.0935" as used by 20" barrels or the Navy's MK12 specification 0.100 to 0.105"
