Does magnite dent or crack if dropped

Under normal conditions, magnite will not crack when dropped. It has a supremely high hardness rating. The velocity of the impact will dictate whether it dents. The magnite material used for the TRYBE product line is stronger than typical, commercial grade aluminum

Is this wide enough for a suppressor to fit inside?

The opening is wide enough to fit most suppressors. Dimensions are below for reference:
Inside diameter (left to right): 1.37 in. / 34.80 mm
Inside diameter (top to bottom): 1.64 in. / 41.70 mm

Will this fit a S&W AR15-22?

It will not. S&W AR15-22 rifles have proprietary handguards with a different shape and connection point.

These lightweight magnesium alloy handguards are heat treated and coated in black nickel nitride.

Is it compatible with a gas piston system, like the Adams Arms’ uppers?

Currently, TRYBE handguards are not compatible with piston uppers as they require a larger clearance than a typical AR handguard. The channel under the pic rail needs to be 0.500” wide and have 1.02” of clearance from the center of the barrel to the top of the channel. That channel at the top also needs to have a full round radius, all of which this model handguard does not have.

The barrel nut is made of nickel steel 4140, but we are currently developing a new version that will include a magnite barrel nut to reduce weight

Yes, this TRYBE Defense AR-15 Magnite Ultra Function Lightweight M-LOK Handguard will be compatible with a Springfield Armory Saint AR15 rifle that use a free float rail. If you have a model that uses a railed gas block or fixed front sight, it must be removed and replaced with a low-profile gas block as well as removing the delta ring and handguard cap.
