These TRYBE Tactical Laser-Cut Plate Carriers do not come with armor plates. These are just the carries.

I have some plates that were given to me that are 9.5x12.5. Will this plate carrier work for those plates?

The TRYBE Tactical Laser-Cut Plate Carrier was designed for 10"x12" plates but should be able to fit 12.5" plates as well. It will be a tighter fit but should still work.

In the description, the last bullet point states: "Plate carrier sold separately."? I'm assuming it meant to read "plates sold separately"?

Correct. The TRYBE Tactical Laser-Cut Plate Carriers w/Fast-Release Tubes is sold as the plate carrier itself without plates. You can use 8x11 or 10x12 plates as well as 6x6 or 6x8 side plates.
