Does this Compensator require a special guide rod or springs? I have a Walther PPQ Classic Q4 Tactical. Lastly what grain 9mm ammo works best?

The grain of the ammo is not the main concern, however pairing the correct recoil system with the compensator will be necessary. You will need to get a lighter recoil spring, depending on the performance level of the ammunition you choose.

What is the width dimensions......per say like will it match the Glock 19 slide width, or Glock 43 slide width?

The exact width is not provided by the manufacturer but this is slightly less wide then a Glock 19 slide and is closer to the width of a Glock 43.
