Smith -Wesson has stopped manufacturing front flip up iron sights for M&P 15-22. Will this sight work in tandem with the factory installed sight?

This Unity Tactical Folding Front Iron Sight requires a Unity micro hub in order to attach to your rifle. With the micro hub the sight will sit at an absolute co-witness height making it compatible with your rear sight. You can find the micro hub by using the link below:

Is this set up for absolute cowitness or lower 1/3rd?

These will only mount on the Unity FUSION and VTAC Micro hubs. They are shorter than normal sights because the hubs give extra height. When combined with the hubs, they will sit at standard AR iron sight height (approximately 1.5").
