This will work with the Vortex Crossfire red dot, but the housing of the Crossfire is slightly taller than the Aimpoint models, so this will actually sit a tiny bit higher. This mount measures .96" from the bottom to the top of the mount which means to find the actual optical height you will want to measure the height of your specific red dot from the bottom of the red dot with no mount to the center of the lens. That measurement will be the optical center height and tell you whether it will be an absolute co-witness or closer to a lower 1/3rd.

No, this is closer to lower 1/3 co-witness with both that and a Romeo5. I had to buy a Primary Arms Advanced Microdot, which sits lower, to get down near absolute co-witness with this mount.
