I don't see why not. The only concern with a 30-06 I can see would be "can it stand up to the recoil". Since it has an etched reticle and is not illuminated there's not a lot to possibly break, so I think you'd be good to go but I have only used mine on an AR-155 shooting .223 & 5.56
