If i were to sight this in and I decide i wanna take it off, will it still be sighted in when i put it back on?

No, but it's usually close. Get a bore laser, makes life so much easier if you are changing out sights.

is this a micro t2 footprint dot? can I swap it onto other t2 footprint mounts?

Is this auto on auto off?

The Vector Optics Maverick GenII 1x22mm Red Dot Sight does not feature an auto on/auto off feature. It uses an illumination dial to manually select your desired brightness setting.
