For this to mount on a AR 15, does it need a riser? I have it on a full picatinny upper and feel like the front of the scope contacts with the rail.

Answered by Vector Optics, member, from UT, United States, on September 10, 2026

This model is primarily intended for 25-meter air-rifle benchrest target shooting. On an AR-15, a high-profile scope mount or riser is needed to provide clearance for the objective housing. Since you’re noticing contact with the rail, please have the installation checked before use.
