Yes, this will work with the .25-06 which has a bullet diameter of 0.257. The 6.5 Creed has a bullet diameter of 0.2644

Logo has to face down towards the ground. If you cant time it, you have to crash the shim that comes with it by tightening it and loosening it until you get it lined up

It is 5/8-24 threaded, and VG6 lists it as compatible for 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel, and 6.8 Remington SPC.
