They are slightly different shades. There are many "tan" finishes including flat dark earth, desert tan, coyote tan, etc.

I recently purchased to see if it’s the same as Magpul’s FDE , and surprisingly it’s almost identical. I highly recommend for FDE builds. Wish I can post a pic.
