Is this optic and its variants sturdy enough to survive sustained use on a 7.62x51 rifle?

Is it any way to tune scopes reticle illumination (not brightness but contrast)? It looks like just a blue large blurry spot. It is absolutely useless

Unfortunately, there is only adjustments for position and brightness.

The manufacturer only states the optic to be rain proof.
