This vest is rated at Level III Plus and is capable of stopping 7.62x51mm, 7.62x39mm, and 5.56x45mm rounds.

Per the product description, this is Level IIIA armor. As such, it will stop pistol rounds up to .44 magnum. It will NOT stop the rifle rounds indicated in the other answer.

You have to be sure you are selecting the proper option to add to your cart. One option is rated level IIIA and the other is level III+. The detailed description definitely is confusing.

44 mag is the max. The supplied equipment is 2-3A plates and a level 3 vest so it’s rated 3A as it comes 44 mag and below
