The RE-PA5 was designed at a time when we were not allowed to have braces on pistols. For that reason it is larger in diameter and has no position rail as to not accept a adjustable brace or stock. There are a few braces such as Gear Head Works Tailhook MOD1 that may fit. If you wanted to use an adjustable brace such as SB Tactical SBA3 or SBA4 with the A5 Buffer System you would need to use the RE-A5 or RE-10/A5SR receiver extensions.
