Yes, this barrel will fit the Magpul Backpacker stock even with the rail installed.

No, it will not interfere. In the fore end of the stock there is a little plastic adapter block. You simply pull it out of the recess and flip it over. It is set up for the .920 barrel then. Magpul thought of everything.
